An off-hours service call can be pricey, and can be avoided by a regular checkup and preventative maintenance.

If you don’t have a favorite HVAC company, you should. Now is the perfect time to ask friends and family for recommendations.

A real bad time to ask for recommendations is when there’s no heat at 3 AM. I’ll be up, but that’s not the point.

Prices and services offered vary. A lot. I know it’s a cliche’, but you get what you pay for. Expect to pay somewhere between $85.00 – $145.00. If the deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.
